Christian, Joann and his team really took their time explaining the entire process to me, which was a bit daunting as a first time homebuyer. Christian and Crosscountry took over for us after another lender failed to move our loan forward in a timely manner. We were able to close on our home (North County) in about 2.5 weeks including a phenomenal effort at the end due to a Federal holiday. Christian was on top of everything, moving the process along without delay and always available to answer questions/explain the next step. Huge shoutout to Anita and her team! This whole process is a first for my wife and I. Anita and her staff were super helpful, thorough, and really made us feel at ease with this huge step. Earlier this year (2019), I contacted Edgar and Anita to purchase a home using the VA Home Loan, which required a funding fee. The funding fee is a percentage of the loan amount, but will vary depending on certain situations. For me it was approx $7K. At the time of the loan, Edgar and Anita, mentioned that if I was receiving any disability compensation from the Navy, then the funding would be waived. But at the time of loan, I was not receiving any compensation, although I had a case pending. Few months later, I was finally awarded with my disability compensation. With the good news, I contacted Edgar and Anita again, and without delay, they began the necessary paper work to waive the funding fee with our mortgage holder. In few weeks, my funding fee was auto-deposited into my bank account.
